    From what you say it appears very likely.
    Then, this has been happening from other countries , to, other countries, for a very long time.
    I don`t know about `owning` a country but…..
    there is certainly an ability to influence and undermine.
    Within the same vane there is something wrong within `privatisation` that allows people that may be at odds with your countries policies to own your water and fuel supplies.
