Most republicans think we should stay there until Iraq is a stable democracy from what I gather. China and several other countries are now paying for the war by buying U.S. treasury bonds that are accumulating interest and will have to be repaid. Are you willing to pay the high taxes that will become necessary in the near future to pay for all of this, or will you just blame the democrats because they’ll be stuck with it?
I can tell, few have actually considered that this war will have to be paid for. Our taxes are going to be outrageously bad. Historical consequences.
Sway: Welfare was reformed in 1996 by Newt Gingrich and Clinton. Look it up. It saved and is still saving 86% from previous welfare programs. Can only collect welare for 5 years.
One for the Doc: That is why there are now laws that send deadbeat dads to jail.
Health care through your employer and private insurance companies is not socialist.

    Since the US Dollar is getting worthless, the Chinese won’t have much fun with our Government Bonds. I am more concerned about the Pentagon and its out of control size.

    Not by raising taxes. I think the real question is how do liberals plan to win the war on terror when we retreat from Iraq.

    Here’s a wake up call for you and Nathan. The Bush tax cuts have generated more tax revenue then ever before. The best way to pay for everything is to keep taxes low and our economy strong. High taxes is what destroys the economy which is what will happen if Hillary gets elected.
    Whether you were for or against the war, any sane being realizes that we must win in Iraq.

    First off this is the Neo Con’s War not true conservatives. I hope our troops come home and we can end this money hole and loss of life. As for paying for it……its all tax money and borrowing money from other countries. Bringing the troops home we could save billions of dollars that could be used for securing our own borders and actually provinding care for veterans and current soldiers.
